The "bow" consists of a handle, a bow surface and a pair of elastic bow wings with a buckle at the top. The bow may be fitted with an adjustable arrow stand, various wiggly buttons, snap points, scissors, and an audible or visible draw indicator, but it must not be electric or aid in aiming. The snap point may only be installed at a maximum of 4 cm from the grip opening (shaft point) of the bow.

 

The bow may be fitted with a sight or sighting mark, or a sighting point on the ground. In any case, only one of these devices can be used. The sight mounted on the bow can be used for up, down, left and right adjustment of sight. No prisms, lenses or other amplifiers, levels or electronic components. The aim mark on the bow is the only mark marked on the bow for aim. It may be marked with a pencil, stripe, or other suitable material.

 

A dial or ruler with a range may be installed on the bow as a guide to aim, but not as an aid to aim.

 

Stabilizers and wriggling arrow flight shockers are allowed on the bow, but are not allowed to be used as a string to aim or reach anything else.

The bowstring is composed of several strands of selected polyester thread or other materials, and wrapped in the middle of the line. The winding part of the bowstring must not exceed the tip of the shooter's nose when the bow is drawn to the full.

 

An addition may be fitted to the string as a lip bead or nose bead, and shall not be installed higher than the tip of the nose.

 

No "peephole" or any sign or device to aid aim shall be fitted to the bowstring.

 

The arrow

 

An arrow consists of an arrowhead, a shaft, a nock, and a feather.

 

The style, nozzles, feathers and colors of the arrows used by the athletes in the same set must be the same.

 

Each arrow of each athlete should be marked with his name and unit to show the difference.

 

Target and target stand

 

The target has two kinds of square row and round, the side length and diameter shall not be less than 124 cm, the thickness is not limited, the weight is moderate, easy to move. Made of straw and linen or other suitable materials, it is required to be solid and durable, with appropriate hardness, so that the arrow is easy to shoot into and not easy to fall off or penetrate, and can be firmly installed on the target.

 

The frame supporting the target is called the target frame. It is made of wood or bamboo and must be solid and durable. The target should be placed on the finish line at an Angle of about 15° from the vertical line to the ground. The height of the center of the ring target, strive to be in a straight line.

 

Ring target

 

The ring target is round and comes in three sizes. Long range (90m, 70m and 60m) using ring targets with a diameter of 122cm; For close range (50m, 40m, 30m and children's 25m) a ring target with a diameter of 80 cm is used; Both the youth Group B 25m and 18m and the children's 18m use 60cm diameter targets.

 

Circular target, from the center outward, are respectively yellow, red, light blue, black and white five different colors of equal width concentric circles. Each color interval is divided by a thin line into two equal width areas of the same color. This thin line is called the zone line and is drawn in the high ring area. The outer edge of the outermost white area is drawn within the ring area. Line width shall not exceed 2 mm. This makes 10 rings of equal width. The 122 cm ring target is 6.1 cm wide for each ring area. The diameter of the yellow center is 12.2 cm, and the diameter of the other rings increases by 12.2 cm successively. For a ring target with a diameter of 80 cm, each ring area is 4 cm wide, the yellow center diameter is 8 cm, and the diameter of the other rings increases by 8 cm successively. No matter what kind of ring target, the diameter error of each ring in the ring area above 8 rings (including 8 rings) shall not exceed plus or minus 1 mm. The diameter of each ring in other ring areas shall not exceed plus or minus 3 mm.

 

The center of the ring target is marked with an "X" symbol and is called a pinhole. The line width of the X" symbol should not exceed 2 mm.

 

Ring targets can be made of paper, cloth or other appropriate materials, but the same materials and uniform specifications must be used in the same competition. During the competition, the target paper can be pressed tightly on corrugated paper or other suitable boards about 4 to 5 cm thick, so that the target surface is smooth, durable and easy to judge. Hang the pasted board on the target, the center of the target is perpendicular to the outer edge of the finish line, the height of the target is 130 cm, the size error is not more than plus or minus 5 cm. In international competitions, the target paper contains fibers and is used directly on the target.

 

Compound bow competition is used to add the inner 10 rings within the 10 rings above the target, the rest of the same.

 

Other appliances

 

Finger covers, gloves, hand pads, or tape tape may be used, but must not aid in drawing and retracting.

 

Ordinary glasses, archery glasses, and sunglasses can be used, but they must not be equipped with similar devices such as microporous prisms, and they must not be marked to help with aiming.

 

Arm guards, chest guards, sweat pads, back bow straps, belts, quivers and cotton yarns can be used.
